  1. Eat less and exercise!
  2. Low carb diets and regular exercise are very effective. I set a rule for myself to avoid carbs past 6. You have to remove as many carbs to suit your active or inactive lifestyle.
  3. Eat sensibly and exercise.
  4. exercise heaps dont drive and just drink water when u can.cut back on meals but get what your body needs for energy.ive lost 89kgs
  5. My wife is doing the Ali(Spelling?) system. She's lost 20 pounds in the past month.
  6. Weight Watchers I know people that have lost over 50 pounds well hope it works for u too
  7. Don't eat if your not hungry, balance your diet, fruit and veg are important. Drink lots of water. I always have a good meal before I go to the movies, then I walk right past the concession stand. If I feel hungry between meals, I stop and think, "am I really hungry or am I bored, nervous, depressed, excited, or just thirsty." A cup of coffee takes the edge off. When you snack, snack on popcorn or seasoned rice cakes with water or fruit juice on the side. Its important to reward yourself too, but don't always use junk food, sometimes you should reward yourself with a nice trip or a movie. Don't bother with a diet unless you can make it your preferred diet for life.
  8. I had to do a soft food diet for six weeks due to TMJ issues. I lost quite a bit of weight.
  9. LOL first, cut your avatar out of your diet. Seriously though, the only named diet I recommend is The Food Pyramid. Eating a healthy, balanced diet is the key (combined with resistance trianing, cardio, and stetching). If the diet has a name, avoid it. Avoid diet pills. There is no healthy diet for a lazy person. If you aren't exercising, its not going to work. Do not cut out carbs, only cut out "bad" carbs like sugars and refined flour products, etc. Keep complex carbs (whole grains, fruits, veggies) well stocked in your diet along with protiens. Drink lots of water, avoid sugary drinks and alcohol.
  10. Avoid anything white. Potatoes, bread, pasta. Don't eat heavy after 6 pm. Drink water and get up and move around. March in place watching tv etc. Lose gradually. One pound a week is the type of weight loss that will stay with you. Crash diets don't work. You will gain it all back and then some. Smaller plates equal smaller portions. Good luck.
  11. Hi, Over the Summer I did a 3 day diet and in 2 1/2 months I lost 30 lbs. 3 days a week you do the diet and then eat what you want for 4. I also cut out soda and sweets. Do this for a couple of months and it should work for ya. It Did for me. Just go to the internet and look up 3 day diet, and you should find it. They also call it the Ice Cream diet because you get to eat ice cream. Good luck! Robin
  12. weight watchers and south beach
  13. If there's no exercise none of the diets will work!
  14. South beach diet. My mother lost like ten pounds in the first week!! Go to a bookstore and buy the books. It really works and it isnt the type of diet that has you starving. My mom actually ate more than she did before. The trick is to make yourself full of healthy food so that you dont get hungry and eat unhealthy food.
  15. water and water... the first rule of a good and healthy diet is to drink water, lots of water! Water flushes out the system and eliminates harmful toxins. It enables the body to run more efficiently, speeds up metabolism, and makes it easier to lose weight and burn fat. Your body is made up of 70% water and needs a lot of water each day to perform its necessary functions. drink a glass of water 30mins before meal, it reduce the appetite, reduce the hungry.
  16. Don't try any pills, they don't work, it's a money-making business. Honestly the best way to look at it is, "What did I or didn't I do that made me gain this weight?" and then do the opposite. Which in most cases is changing your eating habits and exercising. "Diets" don't work, you have to change your eating habits. Trust me. Did "diets" for 8 yrs. I've been eating better, cutting down on carbs, especially sweets since sugar slows down the metabolism, and doing cardio exercises. I've lost a healthy 20 pounds in the last 2 months. Sorry, alcohol would have to be cut down if not eliminated, empty calories. My mom has been doing what is known as the Sacred Heart Soup Diet on and off for the past year and a half. She was just over 400 pds. She has lost just over 100 pds, but she has also changed what she eats and she goes to a gym 3 - 4 times a week. There is also fasting, but should not be taken lightly. It gives your metabolism that break to fix itself and kick-start again when you do start to eat solids again. It has many other benefits too, like cleaning your body of toxins (which also affect your metabolism), a "healing" of your body and the organs...etc.
  17. don't drink beer don't eat burritos or nachos eat salads and organic food and vegetables no chocolates or candy or chips and sodas eat Thai food instead of Mexican food.(lol)
  18. A healthy vegetarian diet works. I lost like 10lbs. by not eating fast food or burgers.. Oh yeah and drinking lots of water each day helps flush fat out. And exercise always helps...
